GTA 6 Launch Could Take Place In Early 2025, Suggests Leak
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release in 2025, but while the game’s developer, Rockstar Games, has not revealed any new information, ardent fans have been poring over the available details to find fresh hints.
In December 2023, a trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 was released, showcasing the characters and environment. There may be some new game upgrades soon, as suggested by modifications that have been spotted on the Rockstar Games website.
On the Rockstar Games website, an update was noticed by X user @GTAVI_Countdown (via IGN), adding GTA 6 to the database. The forthcoming game’s database entry page has placeholders for the cover art, release date, and four screenshots. This might allude to a forthcoming official GTA 6 update or announcement.
Rockstar removed the page shortly after the database was discovered, raising the possibility that an upgrade is on the way. The X user claims that although the GTA 6 page has been removed, the placeholder code is still present in the database that was made available to the public earlier this week. Four screenshot references and references to digital purchases may be found in the code.

Although Rockstar has not disclosed any further information on its next game, the X user thinks the company may be preparing an announcement ahead of Take-Two’s quarterly earnings call next week, given that it unintentionally made the GTA 6 database page public earlier than planned.
